Catherine Amendola's painting style is described as in the Classical Academic, painting in oils in the Italian Renaissance Manner. She incorporates
elements in her paintings like that of the Old Masters.

Catherine, begins her portraits with an underpainting. This is usually executed in grey-green tones called, 'Verdaccio', meaning 'greenish first'; at
other times, she uses the 'Ala Prima' method, meaning 'all at once'...

Catherine, uses The Controlled Palette approach...The results are, Museum Quality Artwork...
